SOLID DISCS
Designed to OEM specifications, MetalGear disc rotors
deliver the best structural support and accuracy modern motorcycles
need to deliver outstanding braking performance. MetalGear disc rotors
are made from stainless steel, and are quality controlled and
measured with cutting edge laser equipment specifically designed by a
German manufacturer for MetalGear, to ensure the highest levels of
accuracy and correctness. Our huge range of disc rotors will ensure
you will always receive a disc brake designed specifically for your
bike model, with no compromising on measurements in search of a
‘generic’ product. Certified by TUV approval, the highest level of
brake product quality accreditation worldwide, our discs are equal in
every respect to the genuine product, and are available for just a
fraction of the price.
The solid No-venting Discs are one complete segment of
stainless steel, each designed as a different option in the place of a
standard solid disc on certain models. The solid no-venting discs are
precision CNC machined to ensure accuracy, and are made without
venting holes. The no-venting discs are mainly used for off-road
motorcycles, to reduce rapid pad and disc wear caused by sandy and
muddy conditions.
The solid discs are one complete segment of stainless steel,
each designed to fit perfectly onto the corresponding motorcycles. The
solid discs are precision CNC machined to ensure accuracy, and the
venting holes are designed to improve braking performance and reduce
the disc temperature. The most important aspect of our solid discs is
our attention to detail, and this can be seen through the accuracy of
our measurements, and the control over the thickness of the discs. All
our solid discs come with a one year warranty, and are designed to be
used in conjunction with MetalGear’s high quality organic, sintered or
Kevlar pads. |

FLOATING DISCS
The Floating Discs are two segments of stainless steel,
each designed to fit perfectly onto the corresponding motorcycle/s or
as a different option in the place of a standard solid disc on
certain models. The floating discs are precision CNC machined to
ensure accuracy, and the venting holes are designed to improve braking
performance and reduce the disc temperature. Our Floating discs are
riveted together to allow the outer section of stainless steel to expand
under high temperatures. The most important aspect of our floating
discs is our attention to detail, and this can be seen through the
accuracy of our measurements, and the control over the thickness of
the discs. All our floating discs come with a one year warranty, and
are designed to be used in conjunction with MetalGear’s high quality
organic, sintered or Kevlar pads.

W-DISC
It is important firstly to establish the difference
between the gentle wave pattern (similar to the late model Kawasaki
Motorcycles), and the more severe wave produced and sold as an upgrade
by other companies. These severe wave discs are said to reduce heat
and to be ‘self-cleaning’ (with increased brake performance), all
incorrect statements when in fact the opposite is true, compared to a
circular disc, or a MetalGear gentle wave disc.
Severe wave discs, due to their decreased pad to disc
contact area (due to the removal of the outer sections for the wave
look) increase the temperature of the decreased contact area,
weakening the disc. As well as the increased disc and pad temperature,
the severe wave design acts as a shovel rather than a cleaner,
picking up sand, dirt and mud, and throwing it through the brake pads
and calliper. This can lead to serious problems with the brakes, a
problem that has a much lower chance of occurring with a circular
disc.
However the largest problem with severe wave discs is the
tendency for the disc to experience premature uneven wear-which leads
to pulsating. This is due to the contact areas of the
pad being different during the braking action (the top of the pad
touches much less than the bottom, and touches the disc in pulses due
to the wave design). This can cause shuddering during the act of
braking, a situation that can arise much too soon using a severe wave
pattern. |

SINTERED BRAKE PADS
MetalGear Sintered brake pads are high performance
brake pads that perform exceptionally at higher temperatures, and
produce a higher level of friction between the disc rotor and pads
than the MetalGear organic pads. The increased friction creates higher
levels of stopping power for any Motorcycle, allowing for harder riding
or more extreme braking conditions. MetalGear sintered brake pads are
a rotor friendly sintered material, resulting in less rotor wear,
when compared to similar competitor products.
Off-road motorcycles that are likely to
experience muddy or sandy conditions perform at the highest levels
when utilising MetalGear Sintered brake pads. Sintered brake pads should
also be used when operating heavy or performance Motorcycles, or when
performance braking is needed.
MetalGear Sintered brake pads are best for:
- Sandy or Muddy off-road conditions
- Heavy or Performance Motorcycles
- Touring
- Mountain riding
- Hard riding or someone who loves high performance

ORGANIC BRAKE PADS
MetalGear Organic brake pads are a ‘softer’ compound
that is easier on rotors, while still producing the high standard of
brake performance people expect from MetalGear braking components.
Used as an OEM replacement, the MetalGear Organic pads are the perfect
choice for the rider who uses their Motorcycle to commute to and from
work, or a rider who rides small to medium capacity bikes. If you are
looking for excellent performance at a low price, MetalGear organic
pads are a fantastic choice for your Motorcycle. The MetalGear organic
brake pads are made using high quality Japanese steel, along with
natural materials, and are TUV certified and approved. The MetalGear
organic pads do not pollute as they wear, are easily disposable and
are asbestos free.
MetalGear Organic Pads are best for:
- Small or Medium capacity Motorcycles
- Short to Mid-range trips
- Commuting
- Simple A to B riding

ESJOT SPROCKETS
For Inquiries please contact us
In cooperation with the University of Paderborn Germany, ESJOT Antriebstechnik GmbH has developed a new process to cut the teeth of chain driven sprockets.
"DIAMOND CUT" is an innovative manufacturing process
resulting in a visibly higher sprocket quality than was ever possible
on standard milled sprockets. Special tooling guarantees a super
accurate cutting surface. At the same time the material is highly
condensed in the area of the teeth flanges, so that in many cases
additional heat treatment is no longer necessary. All sprockets are
made from the best German steel to obtain a continued high quality
product.
Front Sprockets
Highest quality steel 16 MnCR5 of OEM quality is
precision cut on CNC machines. Cutting the teeth with our "DIAMOND
CUT" process and case hardening of 700 HV40 (case depth of 0.4 mm)
meets the highest quality requirements.
Modern milling machines guarantee a perfect fit on the
drive shaft with tolerances of overall diameter and wobble remaining
under 0.1 mm.
Rear Sprockets
Center holes are precisely cut on CNC machines with extremely
low tolerances. Only special steel qualities "Qste 420" and "Qste
460" are used. Mounting holes are countersunk and cleaned. Teeth are
cut with our new special procedure "DIAMOND CUT" with tolerances of
overall diameter and wobble of below 0.2 mm guarantee super smooth
running. |
